It was the summer of 2020, and while many were catching COVID, Charlotte and Chris were catching feelings.

Given the state of the world, Chris, having just completed his MBA at UCLA, and Charlotte, uncharacteristically underemployed, both found themselves with ample free time that led them each to approach the dating app, Hinge, in search of connection.

Throughout that summer, their relationship progressed into seeing each other on a regular basis and bonding over shared experiences and shared values. As the world returned to relative normalcy, their life together blossomed into spending time with friends and family, visiting new cities, states, countries and restaurants, working on their careers and futures, motivating each others’ health and wellness goals, all while finding security and comfort in each other and their relationship as the world shifted.

In the nearly 5 years they’ve been together, Chris and Charlotte’s adventures have taken them across the world, whether an impromptu weekend “cheesesteak tour” of Philadelphia, PA (his idea) or making a habit of ringing in the new year in a new city together, such as Florence, Italy (her idea). Their home base for now is Stamford, Connecticut, where they look forward to continuing to build their lives, adventures and family together following the wedding.
